As a sequel to the Ikkitousen series, Shin Ikkitousen focuses on highschools which are each equipped with fighters that contain the essence of Ancient Chinese soldiers from the Three Kingdoms with the use of Magatama. Just as the turf war in the Kanto region comes to a stop and progress in recovery is made the area is back on blast following the start of "Magatama hunting" with the direction of the powerful leader, Himiko. Note: The first episode received an advance broadcast on March 27, 2022. The regular TV broadcast started on May 17, 2022.
