A year has passed since Fū moved to Takehara, and Fū and Kaoru reminisce about their reunion at that time and all the things that have happened since. As Fū becomes determined to be more assertive this year, she receives an encouraging text from Chihiro. The next day, Fū states that she wants to start up a photography club when the new school year begins, receiving support from her friends, including Chihiro's classmate, Tomo.
