As Ichika Usami makes her way home to prepare a cake for her mother, a strange cream-filled explosion occurs nearby, causing Ichika, along with some other girls, to see visions of sweets. While struggling to cook successfully, Ichika suddenly comes across a fairy named Pekorin, who tells her about the Kirakiral that resides in sweets and helps her bake a successful cake.
