DMCA Policy
AniChan respects the intellectual property rights of others, and we expect the same from everyone who uses this site. The Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) gives copyright owners a formal way to ask us to remove infringing material. If you own a copyright, or you are authorized to act on an owner's behalf, and you believe a third party is infringing that copyright on or through AniChan, you can send us a takedown notice through our Contact page. We review every notice and act on valid ones.
What your notice must include
To count as a valid DMCA notice, your submission needs all of the following:
- A description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed.
- A description of the infringing material, including its exact URL or location on AniChan, and what you want us to do (remove it, or disable access to it).
- Your name, title (if you're acting as an agent), address, phone number, and email address.
- This statement: "I have a good faith belief that the use of the copyrighted material I am complaining of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (e.g., as a fair use)".
- This statement: "The information in this notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, I am the owner, or authorized to act on behalf of the owner, of the copyright or of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed".
- Your electronic or physical signature, as the copyright owner or someone authorized to act for them.
Send your notice through Contact Us. Once we receive it, we'll review the claim and take appropriate action, including removing the material from the site.
